just use dove scrub or some kind of products and a face scrubber and scrub away!
it WILL hurt for a while...but they go away after a week.

Nothing CURES acne, so yes--if you find something that controls it, and you stop using that product, it will come back.
ProActive is a very effective product line for millions of people. It also uses benzoyl peroxide, which is the most effective product for clearing out pores and preventing acne pimples. The standard treatment today includes that and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which ProActive's toner includes. The ProActive line is cleanser, toner, and repairing lotion. The cleanser has small cleansing beads in it that gently exfoliate. I see a post here that says ';SCRUB!!!!'; which does nothing to address blackheads and acne, but does tear up the top tissue-thin layer of skin and cause redness and irritation. ProActive's ';scrub'; is quite different from crushed peach pits and other things with rough edges on them.
I advise you to go to the ProActive site and read all their info, so you see what acne is, in fact, and why ProActive is good for clearing up the condition. It doesn't sound to me like you know enough to sort through the good and bad info that you will get here on YA. I've used it for 3-4 years now, and it cleared up my skin quickly.
Toothpaste overnight for a couple of nights. It dries up the blackhead. You don't won't to pick at it. Drink lots of water and wash your face with a non abrasive cream or astringent
Give proactiv a shot (you can get your $$ back)
also follow directions 100% for all the help you want/need.
If you saw an MD already phone them and ask for something else, they may give you something stronger/better.
